A place to keep the things you can't say out loud.
Everyone carries something unsayable — not because they lack people, but because of who surrounds them. My Secret Diary is a private place that listens, remembers your story, and never judges.
How it works
- Press and talk. One tap from your home screen. Speak, and your words become a dated diary entry — automatically, in the background.
- Your day, your story. Entries gather into a day-by-day diary. See the distilled entry or your original words — you control both, and you can edit or delete anything, any time.
- It listens back. A warm, neutral presence acknowledges what you share and remembers your story — never advising, never judging, never asking for anything.
- No pressure. No streaks, no reminders, no guilt. Come when you need to. Leave when you don't. Missing a month costs nothing.
Private by architecture, not by promise
- Everything happens on your phone — speech recognition and writing run entirely on-device.
- No account, no login, no email. There is nothing to breach because there is nothing on our side.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking. We don't know who you are, and we built it that way on purpose.
- The app's only internet use is downloading on-device AI models — and only when you explicitly ask it to.
What it is not
Not therapy. It's a diary that listens — not a treatment, and not a substitute for professional help.
Not a social network. Nothing you write is shared with anyone. There are no followers, no feeds, no audience.
Not an engagement machine. We don't measure our success by how often you open the app. If you feel better and go quiet, that's a success story.
Now in closed testing on Android
We're opening the diary to a small group of early testers. If you'd like to be one of them, write to hello@deepforestlab.com.
